The newest issue of Strategic Assessment, now available online, contains eight articles written in the initial aftermath of the July-August war in Lebanon. The lead article, "Anti-War," by Ofer Shelah, suggests that the recent fighting constituted a post-modern war that called into question traditional ideas about the use of force and the value of war.
Also in this issue:
Breaking the Amoeba's Bones, by Ron Tira The Second Lebanon War: The Plus Column, by Roni Bart Look Not to the Skies: The IAF vs. Surface-to-Surface Rocket Launchers, by Noam Ophir The Operational Aspects to Fighting the Qassam, by Gabriel Siboni Hizbollah vs. the IDF: The Operational Dimension, by Amir Kulick Hizbollah's Primary Agent of Change: The Role of the Lebanese Army, by Dani Berkovich Failed Tactical Intelligence in the Lebanon War, by Yoaz HendelI hope you find this issue of interest.
