Jewish Lobby Directs US Policies on Middle East

The United States does not have the kind of policies on the Middle East that will follow national interests; instead, its Middle Eastern policies are strongly influenced by a pro-Israeli lobby in the country, according to a research in the United States.
The research was carried out by joint works from the universities of Harvard and Chicago: "No lobby has thus far managed on the one hand to deter the foreign policies of the United States from what its national interests were actually intended to create, and on the other hand, to persuade the Americans that the United States share common interests with Israel." Created by John J. Mearsheirmer from Harvard and by Stephen M. Walt from Chicago, who relied on some Israeli and American newspapers as well as on reports by some human rights organizations, the research has a very interesting point. It charges the pro-Israelis in the United States with forcing the United States administration to wage a war on Iraq.
There are references in the research to such important names as David Wurmser, Douglas Feith and Paul Wolfowitz, a former member of Jewish origin of the Bush administration who backed the American war on Iraq. "The Israeli lobby causes great concern, since it gives harm to Israel when Israel is thwarted in its efforts to compromise with the neighboring countries," it was noted in the research.
