Israelization of Washington Policy: Part VIII

Washington Subdued by Neo-Con Zionists

The following groups are important players in the Israelization of Washington policy:

  1. The Ariel Center for Policy Research (ACPR), Israel
  2. The Ariel Center was founded in 1997 to oppose Oslo and the land-for-peace formula, which opposition it explains as follows:

"The "peace process" whose main watchword is "territories for peace", involves a paradox whereby a minuscule democracy is being forced to provide its totalitarian enemies - scores of times its size - the only thing it lacks: territory.

In exchange, the surrounding tyrannies are being asked to provide the one and only thing that they lack: peace."

The Ariel Advisory Council is dominated by ultraright annexationists including former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir and Moshe Arens who tangled with Bush Senior over the Israel loan guarantees in 1991. This imbroglio has traumatized the Bush family till the present.

Ariel wants the Peace Process and Roadmap to evaporate. Shamir and Arens want all the land, nuclear dominance, a belligerent foreign policy which will transform the "sissy" diaspora Jews, whom they despise, into a cohesive Hebrew warrior state.

This "anti-Jewish" Likud thrust originates with Jabotinsky, the Herut/Likud godfather in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Likud loathes diaspora"liberal wimp" Jews and wants a national transformation into Hebrew warriors to replace them. This is one of the reasons why Begin in 1977 was ideologically committed to ethno-national violence to "close the door" on the "peacenik" Judah Magnes pathway forever.

Hence the Lebanon Invasion, 1982, also calculated to delegitimate Arafat and put a gun to the head of the Palestinians, culminating in Sabra and Shatila. The Lebanon Invasion itself was "exquisitely timed" to be obscured by the Mexican Debt Crisis.

  3. Washington Kurdish Institute (WKI)

Mike Amitay. Executive Director of the Washington Kurdish Institute, helped establish the organization in 1996. He is the son of Morris Amitay, a head of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, JINSA. JINSA is the main Zionist lobby in Washington along with AIPAC and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Vice-President Dick Cheney and James Woolsey, both non-Jews, are both boardmembers. Morris Amitay is also on the Advisory Committee of the WKI.

As mouthpiece for the thirty million Kurds, Amitay father and son have major leverage in Washington. The paradox that they champion one stateless people, the Kurds, while moving heaven and earth to thwart another, the Palestinians, doesn’t seem to bother them.

3. OneJerusalem.org

This Israel/America grouping is dedicated to the blocking of any transfer of parts of Jerusalem to the Palestinians. It has offices in Jerusalem, London, New York.

Founding members include: Douglas Feith, Dore Gold, etc. (italics added. RM)

The "triumphalist" tone of the grouping is reflected in its reminder of "Bush capture":

December 18:
Israel's 55th birthday
Jerry Seinfeld, Norah Jones, Tony Bennett, Noa & others join President Bush and Ariel Sharon in a performance honoring Israel's 55th birthday. (italics added. RM)

A quick comment on these three groups would note:

  1. these groups constitute a "state within a state". No country in history has quite allowed a state within a state to make, block, direct, veto, lead, nix national policy so clearly and nakedly. A nation-state normally does not surrender its policy-making to an internal "parallel state" and become a "policy-colony as has America under Israelization.
  2. The fact that none of this is ever discussed clearly and openly tells you that we are now in the "Zionist phase of McCarthyism." Broadly speaking, McCarthyism did not end in the fifties but continues on in this way.
  3. That a "transnational crazy state" called Israel could colonize American policy via Doug Feith/Dore Gold-type teams (see above), using such organizations as the three introduced above, is a pathology that will be analyzed for centuries, paralleling the collapse of Weimar Germany in 1933.
