National Jewish Democratic Leaders to Hold Unity Rally for Kerry-Edwards in Florida

Jewish Americans Throughout the Country Will Join With Jews in Florida at House Parties and On a National Conference Call at 5:30 pm EST

(Broward County, FL) On Sunday, October 3 national Jewish Democratic leaders from around the country will fly into South Florida to stump for John Kerry and John Edwards and tout their unwavering commitment to Israel. More than a thousand supporters will gather at a unity rally Sunday morning and special guests will include Cameron Kerry, Alan Dershowitz, Senator Joseph Lieberman, Senator Charles Schumer, Senator Frank Lautenberg, Congressman Robert Wexler, Congressman Tom Lantos, Congressman Henry Waxman, Congressman Howard Berman, and State Senator Debbie-Shultz. John Kerry and John Edwards stand firmly as an ally and friend of Israel and will never waver in their commitment to a safe and secure Jewish state. Throughout his 19 years in the Senate, John Kerry has always been commited to Israel, whether through his votes on economic aid, military security or locating the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.

Jewish Americans nationwide will join with Jews in Florida with a national conference call at 5:30 pm EST. Even if you are not in Florida, you can still join us on Sunday for the National Jewish House Party Conference Call at 5:30 pm EST. It is not too late to attend a local house party or invite friends over to your own home. Even if you cannot make it to a party, please be sure to call in!

Cam Kerry, Senator Lieberman, and Alan Dershowitz will participate from Florida. Natalie Portman will call in from a house party in Illinois. Rep. Sander Levin will call-in from a party in Michigan and additional members of Congress will join us from parties in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Nevada. Democrats living in Israel will also call in. We have parties going on at over 50 colleges and universities throughout the country.
