Challenging Christian Zionism

And its Role in U.S. Middle East Policy

What is Christian Zionism and what impact does it have on Palestinians? What are ways that churches committed to a just peace can challenge its impact on U.S. foreign policy? What is the history of divestment as a church strategy?

David Wildman, executive secretary for Human Rights & Racial Justice with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, will address these and other questions. Wildman writes and speaks on a wide range of human rights, racial justice and economic justice struggles and works with NGOs active at the United Nations. Wildman received an M. Div. and an M. Phil. in Christian Social Ethics from Union Theological Seminary in NY. He is one of the founding members of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation and currently serves as co-chair of its Steering Committee.
