What is Christian Zionism and what impact does it have on Palestinians?
What are ways that churches committed to a just peace can challenge its impact on U.S. foreign policy? What is the history of divestment as a church strategy?David Wildman, executive secretary for Human Rights & Racial Justice with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, will address these and other questions.
Wildman writes and speaks on a wide range of human rights, racial justice and economic justice struggles and works with NGOs active at the United Nations. Wildman received an M. Div. and an M. Phil. in Christian Social Ethics from Union Theological Seminary in NY. He is one of the founding members of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation and currently serves as co-chair of its Steering Committee.RSVP Required

Established in 1991, the Palestine Center is an
educational program of The Jerusalem
Fund for Education & Community Development. It is dedicated to analysis of
the relationship between the United States and the Middle East, with particular emphasis
on Palestine and the Arab-Israeli conflict. The Palestine Center, formerly known as the
Center for Policy Analysis on Palestine, provides a much-needed Palestinian/Arab
perspective to the political, academic, and media establishments in Washington, D.C. and
throughout the U.S.
