The Leadership of the National Camp Led Us Like Sheep to the Deportation

Written by Nadia Matar

Mourning. Sorrow. Pain. Suffering. Disappointment. And mainly much ANGER. These are the emotions that stir within me in these difficult times. Emotions so fierce and profound, emotions that consume me from within, and rend the heart and soul.

Our feelings of sorrow and mourning are for an area so marvelous, so beautiful and blooming, that we abandoned and discarded. The mind cannot absorb how we handed over those portions of the homeland to the Arab enemy so facilely, the Arab enemy who celebrates on the rooftops and wholeheartedly thanks Ariel Sharon. Everyone from Hamas understands now that there is no need for an heir apparent to Sheikh Yassin, when there is Ariel Sharon who, better than any Arab terrorist, implements the work of destroying Jewish settlements.

Abe Foxman`s Defamation

Written by Jewish Press Editorial

http://www.jewishpress.com

Even as the anguish on the faces of the betrayed Jews of Gaza and the images of bawling soldiers forced to evict them from their homes were fresh in our minds, comes one Abraham Foxman, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League of B`nai B`rith, seizing this cataclysmic moment to deliver the following in an interview with a correspondent for Haaretz:

The events that have taken place surrounding the evacuation of Gush Katif prove there is in Israel a large fundamentalist minority that poses a real threat to the democratic character of Israel.... I fear that the message of Meir Kahane that democracy cannot exist alongside Judaism has penetrated a large segment of the Jewish public.

After The `Disengagement` —

Israel`s Approaching `Sickness Unto Death`

Written by Louis Rene Beres

More than anything else, what now emanates from Prime Minister Sharon`s willful deportation of pious and peaceful Jews in favor of avowed Palestinian terrorists is an overwhelming scent of impurity. Surely it had been bad enough for the embattered Jewish inhabitants of Gaza to endure endless and inexcusable Arab cruelties, but to compound this unique suffering with a self-imposed policy of territorial dismemberment was beyond all reasonable explanation.

The next stage, of course, is perfectly obvious. Bolstered by Washington and London, the Palestinian side (Palestinian Authority, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, it makes no difference whatsoever) will demand that Israel leave Judea, Samaria and "Arab East Jerusalem." When Israel cries out with incredulity that this is "unfair" and "unjust" — after all, hasn`t the country already taken great strides at compromise? — the Arab answer will be more exploding buses in Tel-Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem.

Uzi Landau?

Written by Aryeh Zelasko

It is worth remembering that not all that long ago many of the opponents to Sharon were pushing Olmert as an alternative. He also seemed to have many positive points. The most important point, however, to keep in mind today is how would a candidate stand up to "friendly" foreign pressure. Is his commitment and loyalty to the Jewish people absolute and unmovable or will he be "reasonable?"

I simply do not believe a CHILLONI is capable of the level of loyalty and commitment to the Jewish people needed to fight our enemies. The core, heart, strength and life of the Jewish people is the Torah. Anyone not totally committed to the Torah can not successfully lead us. After enough pressure or temptations, he will crumble. It happened to Begin, it happened to Shamir, it happened to Netanyahu and it happened to Sharon. So why not Landau?

Cutting lose from Moetzet Yesha in Gush Katif

This was taken after I TWICE cut the speaker and microphone wires with scissors of the Settlement Council momzer who kept screaming over his speakers to "clear the road", "let the Army jeeps thru", "do not touch

any container truck", "the people of Neve Dekalim want to move and start their lives again somewhere else", "the Jewish way is not to block the roads"...and much more.

Most of the protesters there were demanding he"shut up"

but he had the speakers and microphone to shout down everyone.

He absolutely went wild after the 2nd time I cut his microphone wire in half while he was speaking and he caught me the 2nd time. Thiese actions were met by loud applause from the many gathered at the entrance to Neve Dekalim.

I pretended I was clueless and the press from the entire world was there to capture this.

Moshiach Now!

An Appeal to All Feiglinites

Written by By Prof. Paul Eidelberg

I do not doubt Moshe Feiglin's good intentions.

I only question his practical wisdom. Please suspend, if only for a few minutes, your preconceptions and consider the following:

By remaining in the Likud and luring people to register for that corrupt party, Moshe Feiglin is preventing the formation of the only political instrument that can possibly remove Israel's present leadership and change the SYSTEM that entrenches this leadership in power—BEFORE Israel suffers more irreversible damage.

By the Rivers of Yarkon We Sit, Weeping at the Memory of Zionism

Written by David Ha'Ivri

History has repeated itself. The Jewish people were driven out of their land by the Babylonians and again by The Roman general Turnus Rufus who destroyed our holy city and plowed the area of the Temple Mount. Zionism was meant to be a cure to this national disgrace. To return to our land and build a proud and independent Jewish State. But now the tables have turned. Israeli general Sharon has expelled our people and bulldozed Jewish towns in Gush Katif and Shomron.

Ze'ev Jabotinsky, the founder of the revisionist movement wrote: "may I forget my left arm if I forget the east side of the Jordan River." Today, those who claim to be his ideological heirs have even given up the west side of the Jordan. The major mainstream "Zionist" movements are all partners in the most orchestrated pogrom in history.

All that is missing is the classical music in the background.

The city that was full of people has become like a widow

Written by Elchonon Hellinger

Eicha: "How does She sit in solitude!

The city that was full of people has become like a widow."

It is chillingly cruel that the destruction of Gush Katif came just 3 days after we mourned the destruction of the first and second Temples, While they are different in many aspects it all boils down to one thing, and that is, that while the Jews in Jerusalem, Beitar and Massada fought and died with pride as true Jews. We in Gush Katif fell like cowards! It is mind boggling to comprehend that a torn, starved, and worn out ghetto Jew, with nothing to gain, staged a resistance in the Warsaw ghetto. Fighting with a few barely working pistols and homemade weapons these young warriors managed to fight off the all-powerful German army for an entire 2 weeks! These famished ghetto yidden with no knowledge of modern fighting managed to rise up and fight. The lion of Judea roared once more! G-d’s name was sanctified, the nations of the world looked at them with awe and they became an inspiration for all Jews until this day!

1,000 families 'have no homes to go to'

A leader of the Legal Forum for the Land of Israel charged on Tuesday that only 100 of the 1,700 families evacuated from the West Bank and northern Samaria settlements have found permanent housing solutions so far, and that only 700 families have found temporary solutions to tide them over. The other 1,000 have no solutions at all.

Meanwhile, State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss announced that he ordered his workers to monitor the handling of the evacuation of the settlers by the security forces and the degree of government preparedness for the disengagement. Lindenstrauss said the investigation began two months ago.

Help Jewish refugees of Gaza

Written by webmaster

Itzhak Meron, one of the attorneys of the Legal Forum for the Land of Israel representing the Jewish exiles from Gush Katif and the Northern Shomron, tells that aside from having planned a very well executed military/police operation against this population NONE of the civil solutions for the post expulsion phase are in place!

This means that over 95% of the nearly 10,000 refugees do not have a true permanent solution to their housing, employment or any of their basic needs (Schools, health care,etc.).

Sharon's 'government' has hired 20 public relations professionals to put out these untruths. One is Arad associates, Ramat Gan and the other is called the Israel Project out of Washington, DC.

All the major Jewish organizations have been fed the line that each of the expelled Jews left with $500,000 and are temporarily in luxury hotels and all will have a permanent solution by September 1st.

Please sign this petition demanding that the Sharon government resolve the Jewish refugee problem immediately.

Stop Self-victimisation

Written by Steven Shamrak

It is easy to manipulate public opinion; fascists and communists were masters of this craft. History is made by people who act against 'mob mentality'. The creation of the state of Israel is a clear example of this fact!

There is a Jewish saying: "Any evil can be justified by quoting Torah out of context". Successful wars and anti-terrorism strategies teach us that, in order to reach an objective, it is not advisable to negotiate with terrorists or implacable enemies. Effective theories of success recommend setting your own life goals and persisting in achieving them. Most of the time, the opinions and actions of others adversely influence our resolve.

REVERSIBLE OR IRREVERSIBLE:

THAT IS THE QUESTION?

Written by Baruch Ben Yosef

What should really concern us today after realizing that the fight to prevent the expulsion and destruction failed is not who is guilty and why it failed, but rather how can we reverse the act of expulsion and destruction enacted by Arik Sharon, his ministers, his yes-men, and his uniformed thugs? Therefore, the bigger question is who really believes that the large and complicated campaign to expel Jews, demolish the houses, and transfer of the territory to the enemy is reversible or not? And since whoever doesn’t believe that the act is reversible, will not know how to prevent the next plan being designed by the evil and the wicked regime, I don’t intend to waste any time with such people.

A SUMMARY OF TRAGEDY

Written by Dr. Miriam Adahan

a.. Imagine that you live in Israel, which has suffered 25,500 known terror

attacks just since 2000, including 6000 rockets just on your small section of

Gush Katif, and instead of attacking the Arab enemy, the government attacks

you.

b.. Imagine that your teenage children are arrested for handing out orange

ribbons on street corners and when you see the police choking them and bashing

them with brass knuckles and you come to their aid, you, too, are arrested

and charged with harming the police officers who arrested you.

The Gaza Withdrawal: A Democracy Killing Itself

Written by Daniel Pipes

Sharon deaf to his own words; Withdrawal 'is a recipe for war'

USA Today

August 15, 2005

[This article is presented as an "Opposing View" to USA Today's own editorial, "Gaza pullout begins with extremists poised for trouble."]

The Israeli government's removal of its own citizens from Gaza ranks as one of the worst errors ever made by a democracy.

This step is the worse for being self-imposed, not the result of pressure from Washington. When the Bush administration first heard in December 2003 that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had unilaterally decided to pull all soldiers and civilians from Gaza, it responded coolly. Months of persuasion were needed to get the White House to embrace the initiative.

Pollard: The Ones Who Handed Me Over, Now Expel Jews

Written by Menachem Rath - NRG

[Maariv] - August 16, 2005

In a moving letter Jonathan Pollard expresses his support for the struggle against the disengagement plan.

Televised scenes of the people of Gush Katif   fighting the plan to evacuate them from their homes have reached audiences all over the world, and even as far as FCI Butner, the American prison where Jonathan Pollard is incarcerated. In an emotional letter sent via his wife Esther, Pollard expressed his support for the people of Gush Katif and the Northern Shomron. "Whoever takes part in this heroic struggle, is fighting not only for the Land of Israel, but no less than this, for the existence and future of the State itself," he wrote.

Who is Humiliating Whom? Part II
